Policy

Al-Mizan Bedford is an open and inclusive school so places are open to all children irrespective of religion or background. We aim to provide a happy learning environment for all our children to help them develop knowledge and affinity for learning the Quran and Islamic teachings.

Places are available subject to availability and on a first come first serve basis. We do not undertake a formal entrance examination but do ask the children to take a very short and basic assessment to determine their ability for Quranic studies, in order to place them in the most suitable class when they join. Students are taught according to their age for Islamic studies to develop true and long lasting friendship in their peer group. Students must be in year 1 to join our school.
