Quran Level 2 How the Arabic alphabets change the shape when they come at the beginning, middle and end of a word. Complete writing the alphabets: beginning, middle and end ( homework is marked in the books)
Islamic year 7 Topic: Haya'
LO: To explore how haya' can be applied in everyday situations.
Activity: Students were in pairs and were given a scenario to discuss. This encouraged the children to think about how haya may look practically.
Students fed back their ideas to the whole class and were supported by the class teacher to develop their ideas and link it to previous learning (about hadith and what haya is). 		Think of an example in your life where you think you could apply what you have learned about haya.
Do not talk about someone behind their back for 40 days. 40 days of no gossiping. Every time we fail, we have to start the 40 days again.
Memorise 1 hadith: Haya does not bring anything except good.

Learn Surah Fatiha with the meaning ( Will be revised again when back in school after next week's break)

Quran Level 3 Review Arabic letters with sounds and spelling . Practice and Write the Arabic letters which we have done today at class.
Quran Level 2 Wrote all the arabic alphabets. Revised Kasrah, Fattah & Dummah Write the arabic alphabets in the book given in the class.
Quran Level 1 Children were taught Arabic alphabets. Practice reading and writing Arabic alphabets.
Islamic year 6 Today we did a pop quiz! 10 random questions from the essential revision section (pg 16 in textbook)

I do this at the beginning of every year to gauge the level of knowledge in the class. 		No homework for this week.

However, if parents could please sign the declaration in the childrens workbooks and add contact details so that I’m able to keep in touch throughout the year should I need to.
