Islamic year 6 We started the lesson by going over the questions for homework last week from the section Halal and Haram consumption.

We then began reading the section Virtues of the Quran. When discussing the rewards of reading the Quran and the higher status given to those that memorise the Quran, the children were very inquisitive with regards to how they can enter Jannah inshallah. We discussed this in detail for a while before continuing with the material in the book. 		Virtues of the Quran.

Students are asked to continue reading the section “Virtues of the Quran”. We stopped in the class just before section titled “Benefitting from the Quran”.

Quran Level 2 How the Arabic alphabets change the shape when they come at the beginning, middle and end of a word. Complete writing the alphabets: beginning, middle and end ( homework is marked in the books)
Islamic year 7 Topic: Haya'
LO: To explore how haya' can be applied in everyday situations.
Activity: Students were in pairs and were given a scenario to discuss. This encouraged the children to think about how haya may look practically.
Students fed back their ideas to the whole class and were supported by the class teacher to develop their ideas and link it to previous learning (about hadith and what haya is). 		Think of an example in your life where you think you could apply what you have learned about haya.
Do not talk about someone behind their back for 40 days. 40 days of no gossiping. Every time we fail, we have to start the 40 days again.
Memorise 1 hadith: Haya does not bring anything except good.
